Desert Rose
Desert Rose, often known as Sand Rose or Gypsum Rose, is a formation created by wind, water and sand. The "Rose" formation happens over time, when small Selenite blades get sand embedded in them. This formation can take a couple hundred years to be created.
It is formed when sand particles become embedded in the crystal structure of gypsum, creating beautiful rosette-like formations. Desert Rose are connected deeply to the feng-shui of a soul and can help provide protection against negative energies. It is also an excellent stone to use during meditation, as it cleanses the mind and is able to connect the soul to its higher self, allowing a deeper meditative state to be reached. Desert Rose is able to activate the Root Chakra, allowing the user to feel grounded and safe.
